Franchise Owners, Mini and Satish Kartha
Satish and Mini Kartha have called Charlotte, NC their home since 2010 when they moved from Austin, TX for Satish to pursue a startup opportunity in the retail security industry. They are proud parents to 2 awesome boys, both of whom are athletes and involved in track, cross country, and soccer. As a family they enjoy camping, hiking, and traveling and exploring the world as they truly believe traveling can expand our mental horizons and appreciate other cultures.
Satish is a product development executive with over 25 years’ experience in the consumer electronics, retail security, fueling solutions and semiconductor industry. He has enjoyed building successful businesses and organizations from the ground up, however it was for someone else to reap the full benefits of those efforts. He wanted to leverage his entrepreneurial, team building and organizational skills to build something tangible for himself and his family, to get a deeper sense of ownership and accomplishment.
Mini has a business management background and a keen product marketing and sales-oriented personality. She sharpened her business and sales acumen at companies such as Dell Inc. and leading credit card companies. She is also actively engaged in the community by supporting various local organizations including the Charlotte Sikh community. Through their combined experiences they hope to bring the right balance of Operational, Marketing and Community engagement expertise to Joshua Tree’s proven model of General tree care, Lawn care and Pest control to build a successful business in the Carolinas. As early adopters of the Joshua Tree Experts’ franchise model and their first truly “remote” location they hope to leverage the leadership and experience Josh Malik and his team bring to deliver long term financial dividends and give back to the community.
